The Android 2.2 SDK Is Updated

This one’s quick – pretty much everything’s in the title, anyway. But, today Google announced that they’ve updated the Android 2.2 (Froyo) SDK. Actually, they announced the availability of a “new” Android 2.2 SDK, which is what they usually do for the updated version of the Software Developer Kit, but don’t think it’s all that new.

While the original SDK has been available since the official Froyo announcement back at Google’s I/O conference, we all know that Google’s been releasing new builds of Froyo ever since – which have become available for download on the Nexus One (and Motorola Droid, subsequently). This update brings the official Froyo code to its final build, which corresponds to that official update that the Nexus One received over the air just a few days back.
