Today Facebook for Android got an update, it polished it up a bit more. Now I kind of wonder if this is has anything to do with the CEO Mark Zuckerberg getting a Nexus One and being seen on Facebook for Android lately, he has been using it here and there it seems. Or it could have to do with the fact that Google’s head of Mobile departed for Facebook a while back, the mobile site and app have now seen an update since then. Whatever the reasoning is, this update seems like its a welcome one!
It adds a photo reel to the bottom of the app at times, it also adds the power to view video right from the app, no more web browsing on that one, they aren’t using the flash technology though, its just streaming, but it still works. There is no chat yet sadly, not sure when that’s coming, hopefully soon for those who like being connected to facebook pals on the go.
