If you own a Galaxy Tab, then you are going to love this. Technomancer, an XDA developer, has created Android Gingerbread with CyanogenMod 7. He is currently working on creating a stable build for the tablet with Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread and its latest version 2.3.2. This build might not be stable for your device due to bugs but will allow you to play with the basic functions. The developer is busy working on fixing the bugs and is making good progress by updating regularly, which means a stable build is expected any time soon. Technomancer quoted this in his post:
You flash it at your own risk. Backup everything. Learn how to use Heimdall. If it eats your dog it’s not my problem. Many things are broken – post about it in the thread if nobody posted before. If you have any idea how to fix things, post too or PMme
