While we don’t have any details yet, Korean news site Yonhap News Agency is reporting confirmation of the next variation of the Galaxy Tab, this time in an 8.9 inch shell. The site received this information directly from a Samsung representative over the phone. During the conversation, it was also noted that we could expect to see the device “as early as next month.”Once it hits the market, this will round out the Galaxy Tab series alongside the original 7 inch model and the upcoming 10.1 inch model; giving a solid option regardless of which size tablet you’re looking for.
No specs or other details have been released at this point, but speculation says that this tablet will more than likely ship with Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb).
