As per Samsung’s Romania Facebook Page, the latest 2.3 Gingerbread update is coming to the Samsung Galaxy S.
So, if you have an unlocked Galaxy S, you should be getting the update sometime after 20th March. Froyo is supposed to be available till 20th March.
A beta version of the update has already leaked online, so it was no surprise that an official update was in the works.
Sadly, if you are tied to a mobile operator till you might have to wait for the update before they test out the upcoming update.
