Does the LG Revolution Stand Out From The Pack?

The LG Revolution is another one of the Verizon’s 4G/LTE devices introduced at CES in January. It is an attractive device and takes after the Motorola Droid X from a visual standpoint. Verizon is definitely not putting a release date out after the HTC Thunderbolt situation, but passing through the FCC means it’s definitely on the way and it’s scheduled for Q2 of this year.

Is LG Revolution Coming Anytime Soon?

In terms of specification the LG Revolution is very similar to the HTC Thunderbolt. It features a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and 16 GB of internal memory to go along with its LTE radio. Although not part of the dual core party the latest iteration of the single core Snapdragon is a credible performer and noticeably faster than the 1 GHz devices released last year.

LG Revolution To Be First With Voice Over LTE.

The LG Revolution will also be the first smartphone to utilize VoLTE on Verizon’s new network and is being used in testing currently. The new technology is promised to bring noticeable improvement to call quality and clarity. The new device is scheduled to debut with Android 2.4 Gingerbread and feature all of the latest advancements. Although it isn’t class leading it will surely have speedy performance and LTE capabilities all in a sleek attractive design.
