Further proof that Droid Bionic cancelled?

First we heard the 4G, dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 4.3 inch screen, front and rear facing camera, Android 2.2 Droid Bionic with 16GB of internal storage was set for mid-April.  Then it was scheduled for May 12. Then rumors said Droid Bionic was cancelled for Motorola Targa. Now Motorola has some missing pages on its website adding to the rumors of a non-existent Bionic. The Motorola Consumers Home page shows the Bionic in the slide out menu, but when that link is clicked you are taken to a support page that doesn’t list the Bionic.

Maybe Motorola is re-designing the Bionic page for the release that is supposed to be coming in the next two weeks. Could it be a publicity stunt to get Bionic back in the news? We’ll be keeping an eye on this updating you as the news rolls in.
