Equifax Puts Your Credit Score in Hand, Android App Released
Equifax, one of the three major credit reporting agencies in the United States, now has an Android app, Equifax Mobile, that provides credit information. While the app itself is free, some of the features require a paid subscription to Equifax in order to use them.
Free features include Equifax Places, which give information on your current GPS location, by zip code, on credit use, credit fraud, and average credit score. With the paid subscription, you can also access your own credit information on Equifax, or control whether some third parties can access your credit report.
Interested? Check out the Equifax Mobile app on the Android Market. Some of the user reviews on the Market note that despite Equifax’s presence in the UK, the app does not work there and is US-only.
