T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling

Wi-fi calling on the T-Mobile network has proven to be an invaluable service for anyone suffering poor signal at home or at work. The fact that it also allows you to dodge those pesky international call charges when travelling abroad by connecting to the T-Mobile network over the web is a huge bonus. While many new T-Mobile phones come with Wi-fi calling pre-installed, loyal owners of the Google Nexus One on T-Mo are left without. Even the Android savvy users who are rooted and running CyanogenMod 7 haven’t got a taste of it. That is, until now.

A developer named Unforgiven has released an add-on which you simply install on top of CM7, et voil¡! Wi-fi calling a go-go. No mess, no fuss, just install and start calling.

While some users have reported issues after installing, these seem to be rare and are even tough to replicate.

Head on over to forgiven’s website to get the latest version of his add-on, and consider donating to support his wonderful work.
