Mobile World Congress Rumor
The original Motorola Atrix was one of the first devices to feature a dual core SoC and if this rumor proves to be true, the Atrix 3 will also be one of the first phones to pack a quad-core chip. It is rumored to be powered by the Nvidia Tegra 3, feature a 720p display, a very nice 10MP camera along with a Droid RAZR MAXX matching 3300mAh battery. All of which sound like perfect specs for a top of the line device the one spec that does stand out however is the reported 2GB of RAM which doubles the best available today, and would only make sense if it accompanies a new and improved laptop dock.
The picture shows a nondescript all black device with a Moto logo on bottom. It’s a pretty standard affair only made notable by the lack of physical buttons pointing to it being announced with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. The story was reported on the Chinese site Tianjin Daily and Concept-Phones So the validity is still up in the air though we don’t have much longer until MWC.
What do you guys think of the proposed specs for the Motorola Atrix 3, and how do you think it will fair against the other quad-core devices head our way the HTC One X, and the LG X3? Moto needs an ICS device to match the chops of its competitors so one would think something along these lines is on the way, and it would be a great sign to see the original launch with the MAXX battery setting a new standard for high-end devices. Until MWC we invite you to play the waiting game along with us, and stay tuned as we will bring you all of the Android Headlines from the big show.
