Toshiba Enters The Tegra 3 Club
Toshiba’s new Excite tablet features the quad-core Tegra 3 SoC and will ship with Android 4.0 ICS on board. It comes in the familiar 10″ form factor with a 1280 x 800 resolution display packaged in a super thin shell. The tab comes in 16GB/32GB/64GB versions and packs a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The new version is a big shift from Toshiba’s first gen Android tab which was one of the bulkier options, to the new model which should be the one of thinnest. Prices start at $450 for the 16GB version up to $650 for the 64GB version and it is available today from Amazon. So if this is the tablet you have had your eye on head on over to either store and pick one up.
