Today was the launch of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 and boy has it been a big day for Google. Both the 8 and 16GB version of the Nexus 4 sold out and now it appears that the 32GB version of the Nexus 10 has sold out as well.
As far as the Nexus 4, it took just 24 minutes to completely sell out in the US. Many Android users are questioning Google’s strategy and voicing opinions that they severely underestimated the amount of units to have ready.
If you’re wanting to grab the Nexus 10 32GB, you’re just going to have to wait even longer unfortunately. If you head to the Play Store page, it says it’s “Coming Soon”, but entering your email will allow you to be notified when more product arrives.
The good news is that, like the Nexus 7, the Nexus 10 will eventually make its way to retail stores. So worst case scenario, you’ll have to hold out longer, but you may be able to pick it up at a store near you very soon.
Do you think Google dropped the ball with estimating how many units to have on hand or do you think this is just some clever trick to create scarcity?
