More details about the highly-anticipated HTC One Max have been leaked by ePrice, with hardware and software specifications being revealed. In a departure from HTC’s previous design strategy; the One Max boast a removable back panel, a 3300 mAh battery, an extra 1200 mAh via a rear panel accessory, as well as a MicroSD card slot underneath. Instead of the much rumoured 5.9 inch display, the One Max appears to have a slightly more manageable 5.7 inch screen. It is thought that the HTC One Max will be officially announced around the 17th of October.

- 5.7 Inch Full HD screen
- 16GB Internal memory
- Support for up to 64GB MicroSD card
- 4 Ultra MegaPixel camera (same as the HTC One)
- Sense 5.5
- Dual speakers (BoomSound)
- 3,300 mAh battery (plus a removable back panel accessory which houses an additional 1200 mAh battery)
The HTC One Max is believed to use either a Qualcomm Snapdragon S600 (previously reported as a higher clocked S4 Pro APQ8064) or the S800 which is fast becoming the CPU of choice for high-end phones. Audiophiles will be pleased to note that the One Max features dual front speakers, probably with the same BoomSound technology as its smaller sibling, the HTC One.
After having a look at the leaked photos, in which the HTC One Max is compared to the newly released Samsung Note 3, the One Max stands taller than the Note 3, though that is mostly down to the front-facing dual speakers. There is also a square, chrome ringed, fingerprint scanner below the camera lens on the rear of the phone. Unlike another Note 3 competitor; the Pantech Vega Note LTE-A, there is no mention of a stylus being included
