From the looks of things LG is getting ready to release a Lite version of their recently released LG G Pro 2 device, appropriately named the LG G Pro 2 Lite. LG launched a Lite version of the G Pro last year so it wouldn’t have been far fetched to think that they would try to keep that ball rolling, and it seems that’s just what they intend to do. According to a recent document from the FCC, the LG G Pro 2 Lite is on the way, and it may be heading to Verizon Wireless before other carriers. It is reportedly going to be launched on two other major U.S. carriers as well, with rumors that Sprint and AT&T would be picking up their own variants of the phone. No word on a T-mobile version though, so if you were hoping that Big Magenta picks this up you might be out of luck.

The model numbers for the Sprint and AT&T models of the G Pro 2 Lite have seemingly leaked back in March, but keep in mind those are just leaks and we don’t know for sure if those are the actual model numbers for the G Pro 2 Lite. The Verizon model which the FCC may have recently looked at, appears to be coming with a 5.7-inch display and will have support for LTE bands 4 and 13. The documents also list Bluetooth 4.0 LE and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, along with the phones battery type, which looks to be 3,200mAh so the device should be able to last through the day with ease.

Those are really the only known details about the device, with the rest of the specs still only pegged as rumors. The LG G Pro 2 Lite is said to come with 8MP and 1.3MP cameras, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage space and expandable up to 32GB via microSD, and possibly come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. For now we’ll just have to ponder most of the hardware but at least we know the phone can’t be too far off at this point. There are still no official dates for release or what the phone will end up costing consumers once it launches at participating carriers.
