Still patiently waiting till the buying opportunity opens up for you to snag a OnePlus One? How about the chance to win one of the invites so you can buy from the next batch of devices that is made available? Sounds good right? OnePlus is holding another contest, we know how they love their contests, and we love them for that. This one is called “It’s raining Invites” and what they’re doing is essentially giving people the chance to be a lucky winner of the invite to buy the Sandstone Black 64GB model of the OnePlus One. If this contest wasn’t already an indication, the next batch of devices that will be made available is the 64GB model, where the “smash the past” contest winners received the White models which had the 16GB of space.
The contest is simple and you won’t have to be doing any smashing or donating to win this time around. That’s a double edged sword as winning does get you an invite to buy the phone, but you’ll be paying the full price for this one. So there are no more chances for anyone to buy a OnePlus One for $1, that’s ok. The good news is that if you’re already planning on buying one of these phones and have the money set aside, you can try your hand at winning an invite to buy one before they made more widely available in mid-late June, without having to give up your old device.
Entering the contest is simple. All you have to do is head to the main contest web page, and enter for your chance to win via the rafflecopter widget on the page. There are multiple ways to win chances and we recommend you do them all if you really want to better your standing. You can even do one of them once a day until the contest is over. The contest began promptly this morning and it ends in three and half days. You simply have to Like OnePlus on Facebook, Follow them on G+ and Twitter, Tweet about the giveaway, and post in the comments on the thread about the contest on the OnePlus forums. All of those things get you one entry but you’re not required to do every method, and you can re-tweet about the contest again tomorrow and the following days until it ends. You can also gain extra entries by short linking to the contest via Facebook or email as well, and you gain one entry for every person that uses that link to enter.
