Google is taking aim at Dropbox, Box, and other cloud storage solutions with the new Drive for Work. It’s only $10 per month, per user, for totally unlimited cloud storage. They announced the new Drive for Work today at Google I/O 2014 along with new Android for Work details. Drive for Work will have better administrative controls for IT admins to make use of, making the new offering perfect for corporate and enterprise environments. There’s even new APIs that will let IT admins keep an eye on what employees are up to, making their lives even easier.

Google also announced new functionality with Drive and their ongoing Quickoffice integration. Users can now edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents natively within Google Docs and Sheets. There’s a new “Suggested Edits” feature to help users that need it, as well as better collaboration tools.

Drive now has 190 million active, 30-day users. These are users that have been using the service for 30 days or more, not just users that have signed up for the service. They also stated that 58 percent of all Fortune 500 companies are using Google services in some form or another. That user base is only going to grow with Drive for Work.
