Smart watches are here, and they are fast becoming a must have for tech enthusiasts everywhere. Eventually, the smart watch hopes to become a fashion statement for the masses, with beautiful, sleek designs they are well on their way. However, the must have accessory of 2014, so far, comes with some not so aesthetically pleasing accessories. Mainly the charging docks, which is where Australian start-up, Aerios aims to lend a helping hand with some beautifully designed charging docks for your smart watch.

When Android Wear smart watches were first announced, one of the first models available was the LG G Watch. While the G Watch was designed to look sleek, the charger was left in the dust. A square block of plastic with the ability to charge is what consumers are finding comes along side their tech forward fashion accessory. Aerios has something different in mind, something as beautiful as the smart watch itself-the LG G Watch Moduul.

The Moduul for the LG G Watch is a stand of sorts, that fits your G Watch comfortably and safely while it charges, either overnight, or while sitting at your desk. The base of the Moduul has a suction cup to stabilize the stand and ensure the dock moves as little as possible. The Moduul boasts premium materials as its made of anodised aluminum  and comes in black with walnut timber or a silver option with an oak finish. Both of which are available via Aerios’ crowd-funding campaign on IndieGoGo.

Currently, Aerios has made enough for a limited beta release of the Moduul, however they are looking for funding to bring Moduul to the masses. On their IndieGoGo page, they claim they only need another $1,600 AUD in order to mass produce the Moduul, though they only have 24 days left to do so. Their goal should be easily attainable, as they have 9 different options for contributing. The lowest option is $5, for which you’ll get a “supporter” sticker. In order to get an “early-bird” Moduul, you’ll need to go a bit higher at $35, for which you’ll get to choose the color of your Moduul. The highest option is $300, for which you get what they call the “retail pack” 5 of each color option.

Aerios has said they plan to start shipping in late October to November of 2014.
