The Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen., Motorola was able to upgrade a lot of it’s parts, including adding a larger screen, but keeping the price at just $179 unlocked for the 8GB version. So today, we’re going to look at all the specs for the Moto G.

Motorola is packing a 5.-inch 720p IPS display into the Moto G which gives it a 294 pixel per inch, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass. It’s also sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that’s a quad-core 1.2GHz chipset and has the Adreno 305 GPU inside. There’s also 1GB of RAM, along with a 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP front facing camera. It does come in 8GB and 16GB variants, but also has a microSD card slot inside that supports up to 32GB of storage. The Moto G is packing a 2070mAh battery, which Motorola says will get you around 24 hours of mixed usage. It’s also running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with a bit less customizations on top compared to the Moto X. It weighs in at about 149 grams and has dimensions of 70.7mm x 141.5 mm x 6.0-11.0mm.

As far as the bands go, the US GSM model has “GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz. UMTS/HSPA+ 850, 1700, 1900MHz.” And the Global GSM model has “GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz. UMTS/HSPA+ 850, 900, 1900, 2100MHz.”

We’re also looking at Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, front-facing stereo speakers, GPS, GLONASS, and Digital DTV for Brazil. The base colors are black and white, but they have a slew of other colors available for the back of the Moto G.

We’ve only had the Moto G for a short time so far, but we really are liking it. Especially the front-facing speakers that the Moto G and Moto X both have. If you want to see more on the Moto G, just stay tuned to Android Headlines in the coming days. Lots more content to come.
