Sony Xperia Z3 Lands on T-Mobile Shelves

It’s about time. About time Sony launched their newest smartphone in the US within a timely manner. Even though it’s been about 6 weeks since the Xperia Z3 was announced, by comparison the Galaxy Note 4 was announced the same day and only just released last Friday. So not too bad for Sony here. Seeing as it usually takes them 6 months or more before their phones launch here. They’ve also got the Xperia Z3v coming to Verizon later this week, which isn’t quite a Xperia Z3, but we’ll talk about that in a different post.

The Sony Xperia Z3 for T-Mobile has WiFi Calling, as you’d expect. It also sports a 5.2-inch 1920×1080 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 20.7MP camera, and a 3100mAh battery. Which Sony says can last you a full two days. And after the testing we’ve seen from Phone Arena, I think that is true. I’ve also seen others with the Xperia Z3 over in Europe that are getting 6+ hours of screen on time. Which is pretty phenomenal.

Starting today, you can pick up the Sony Xperia Z3 from T-Mobile. It’ll cost you $630 outright, which is right on par with other smartphones these days. Or you can grab it for $0 down and pay $26.25 per month for 24 months. While you’re not paying extra by paying each month for the Xperia Z3 (26.25 x 24 months = $630), I’d still recommend buying it at full price. That way if you decide to upgrade to the Xperia Z4 or Z5 next year, you can sell it and get a good chunk of change to pay for a new phone.

How many of you are going to be picking up the Sony Xperia Z3 today from T-Mobile? If you do, be sure to let us know what you think in the comments down below.
