Black Friday. Cyber Monday. The assault on your wallet is never-ending at this time of year. And many of us still haven’t started our Christmas shopping in earnest yet. T-Mobile isn’t helping either, with the announcement that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is be joining its line-up of Android tablets available. The Un-Carrier says the Tab S 10.5 will be available online as well as participating brick-and-mortar outlets from December 10, with 24 monthly payments of $27.08 or $649.92 outright.

You can add the Tab S to your Simple Choice voice plan for only $10 a month, and T-Mobile will match up to 5GB of data every month just for use with your new Tab S tablet. That is in addition to the data allowance you get for using with your phone. And the un-Carrier network is quick to point out that there are no access fees for trying to access the data you’ve already paid for. Other benefits of the Simple Choice plan include no domestic overages, the frankly amazing bonus of unlimited international data free of charge in over 120 countries. There’s also unlimited music streaming care of Music Freedom that includes streaming services such as Google Play Music, Xbox Music and SoundCloud. Finally, if you are on the Un-Carrier’s unmatched 4G LTE network, you can also receive 200MB of free data every month for the life of your device, or until you break or sell it.

While we are here, just a quick refresh on what the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is all about. As you can guess from the name, the tablet carries a 10.5-inch display  and uses Samsung’s Super-AMOLED technology, with an eye-watering 1600 x 2560 resolution. It’s the first time Samsung have used a Super-AMOLED display in a tablet since the Galaxy Tab 7.7 way back when. A Snapdragon Quad-Core processor provides the grunt, and its clocked at 1.9GHz. 3GB of RAM is on multi-tasking duty, and there is 16GB of internal storage present with the option to add more via the included Micro-SD card slot. As this is being offered by T-Mobile, it makes sense that the Tab S 10.5 will offer both WiFi and LTE compatibility. The tablet weighs in at 16.4 ounces. So there you have it, if you were looking at buying a tablet, T-Mobile put yet another option in front of you. Its always a difficult choice buying an electronic device for someone else, and sometimes the more choices there are, the harder it becomes. Does the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 peak your interest?
