While many of us are still trying to catch up with all the new products that were announced at CES in Vegas last week, that doesn’t mean the rest of the world is standing still. Indeed, here we have news that a new tablet from LG is doing the rounds at the FCC, and while details about the device leave a lot to be desired, we do know that the tablet is known as the LGLK430.

What else do we know about the LGLK430? Well, according to the FCC, the LGLK430 is a ‘portable tablet’ and supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE and WiFi. As seen from the images in the gallery below, the tablet offers Cat. 4 LTE, with support for the following LTE bands 25, 26 and 41, which leads us to the conclusion that the LGLK430 is headed to Sprint. As previously stated, details are scarce, although it isn’t too much of a stretch to reach the conclusion that this is merely Sprint’s version of the G Pad 7.0 or 8.0, which shouldn’t differ too much from Verizon’s offering. If so, the LGLK430 should be powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that is clocked at 1.2GHz, with 1GB of RAM available for multi-tasking and 8GB of internal storage. There should be a 3.2MP camera on the rear, with a 1.3MP camera on the front for video chat duty. That being said, there’s always the chance that this could be an entirely new device, in which case we will update as soon as new details are announced.

Other than that, the images leave us in no doubt as to where the FCC sticker will be attached to the rear of the device. It’s always exciting to get word that new devices are being put through their paces, but sometimes it can be very frustrating when there are scant details to be pored over. If the LGLK430 is indeed Sprint’s version of the G Pad 7.0, would it be something you would rush out and purchase? Or have you got your eye on something else? As always, let us know in the comments or at our Google Plus page.
