Today has certainly been a busy day for anyone interested in android. Of course, this was not really a surprise as it was the annual android extravaganza which Google throws on a yearly basis. Otherwise known as Google I/O. Well, in among the wealth of announcements which included the likes of Android Pay and the newly released Google Photos app, the big talking point of this year’s event was the next operating system update, Android M. This was the big talking point of the event in many respects and largely because Android M seemed to transcend all other announcements with its level of integration and inclusion. As such, you could not escape the news on M. Not to mention, if you own a Nexus device then you can download the developer preview and see what Android M has to offer for yourself.
Well, as well as all the high profile features that have already been touted to be included on Android M, like the fingerprint technology and the advanced app permission controls, M is another android update. As such and consistent with what happens with android updates in general, there will be a wealth of new media to get used to. This will include the likes of new wallpapers, ringtones, themes and so on. For most android users, this will be the fun part while, for some, this will be another level of getting used to,
Either way, and whichever side of the fence you sit on, if you are interested in checking out the new ringtones and sounds, then it looks like you are in luck. A bunch of the ringtones and sounds are now available to download in one handy file. Included in the package are 24 UI tones, 12 ringtones, 8 alarm sounds and 11 notification sounds. So although, you might not be running Android M just yet (and probably won’t until the end of the year at the earliest) you can at least make your current phone sound like it is.
