Saygus has faced numerous issues over its upcoming smartphone, the Saygus V2. The US-based company has delayed the launch of the “world’s most advanced smartphone” in several occasions, as the launch was recently pushed to May 22 after missing the shipping date earlier this month. Many users have grown impatient and even skeptical of the team’s promises; after being quiet for a while, the relatively small and inexperienced company, has finally addressed the many challenges that it has faced over the Saygus V2 development. The main frustration of customers who pre-ordered the smartphone, was the lack of communication from Saygus itself; in order to amend this, the team promised to release updates for the devices development in a more timely manner. So even if more issues appear, Saygus’ customers will be well informed.

Saygus also said to have fixed what supposedly caused the delays, which was declared to be related to the phone’s overall quality. The company did not specify the exact cause of the quality concerns, but previous updates described numerous problems with the way the camera and antennas were assembled. The cameras is one of the Saygus V2 main selling points as both the rear and front-facing sensors were marketed with an amazing high resolution; with 20.7MP and 13MP respectively. If either one of the cameras didn’t show that quality that the company promised, it would have greatly affected the sales of the upcoming device.

The Saygus team seems to be working hard to change the image it has been earning with recent complications, so much so that the company has been rebranded and has been given a new logo. Although said changes are currently found only in Saygus’ Twitter feed. No word has been given about the new logo making its way to the upcoming handset; but if it does make it, hopefully it won’t cause any more delays. With a new marketing partner, Saygus will surely be more present in social media websites, from which the company has been, up to this point, almost absent.

A new video was also released in the hopes of reinforcing the trust that customers have put into the development of the Saygus V2. The video showcases the smartphone’s WiHD feature, which offers new-to-market no lag wireless HD streaming capabilities. An impressive feature to see in real time, as it essentially works as advertised. This newly released video will surely help customers who pre-ordered the device feel more confident that any future delays that the Saygus V2 could experience, are well justified.
