Huawei has been surrounded by numerous rumors regarding the possibility of the next Nexus device to be manufactured by the Chinese-based company. This would mean that the ever-growing Huawei would gain a substantial amount of customers that are all loyal to the Nexus line of smartphones and tablets. Back in April, the first reports began surfacing, and since then, there has been an incrementing number of documents and files which all claim the same thing, Huawei is closely collaborating with Google to release a new Nexus smartphone. All of the released information was considered a mere rumor, until two distinguished Chinese tech analysts confirmed the deal struck between Google and Huawei. Today, yet another report has mentioned the strong possibility of the next Nexus device to be manufactured by Huawei.

For quite a while now, Huawei has been expanding and gaining more power in Western-based markets, this was all thanks to the strong commitment that the world’s largest telecom-equipment provider has with improving the quality of the products it sells. Today, there is no doubt about the power that Huawei has gained over the course of a few years; yet, it seems that this great expansion isn’t enough to completely satisfy the company. Huawei is working hard to become one of the leading worldwide OEMs, hoping one day to surpass Samsung’s dominance. This strong desire to innovate and to further grow, has caught Google’s attention; who is willing to give Huawei the chance to build the next Nexus device and act as a stimulant for Huawei in Western markets. Of course, the deal with Huawei will also be highly beneficial for the internet giant, as for a long time, Google has been trying gain more users in China. Sundar Pichai, Google’s head of Android, stated during this year’s MWC, that the company has been trying to return to the Chinese market.

The new Huawei-made Nexus is rumored to feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, powered by the powerful Quad-core Snapdragon 810 chipset. Unfortunately, this is all the information that has been revealed by both analysts and experts about the upcoming Nexus smartphone. There has also been several rumors that point towards two Nexus smartphones being launched by two different companies in just one year for the first time since the Nexus program was created.
