The OnePlus 2 is now official, but not everyone may have gotten a chance to watch the event through the VR headsets that OnePlus sent out to interested people. For those who may have missed the event, we have some hands-on images of the device so you can check it out in all its glory. The OnePlus 2 comes sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass to protect the screen, and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with a 3300mAh battery to keep it going throughout the day. On the front OnePlus has fitted the device with an 5MP camera which is still an improvement over last year’s version, and on the back OnePlus has used a 13MP sensor capable of shooting video in 4K.
The device supports GSM as well as 4G LTE, comes with NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 support, and support for dual-band WiFi 802.11ac. It also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the front within the home button, and instead of microUSB for the charging and data port OnePlus has implemented the use of USB Type-C instead to give it a little bit of future proofing. Storage wise the OnePlus 2 comes in two models, a 16GB device with 3GB of RAM and a 64GB device for those who may need a little bit more space, as well as more RAM as this model comes with 4GB. OnePlus will also be offering the device with a variety of back cover options in addition to the Sandstone black, including Rosewood, Kevlar, real bamboo wood and black apricot.
