Earlier today Samsung took the wraps off of their brand new Note device, the Galaxy Note 5, and while we have covered the availability for the phone from each carrier separately, here will be an all-in-one inclusive post where you can find the availability details and pricing for the Galaxy Note 5 from each of the four major carriers here in the U.S. Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Note 5 will go on sale in stores physically and online at a number of retailers starting August 21st, with pre-orders beginning today at 3PM EDT. Not all carriers will have the same availability of course but we have you covered on where to pick up this device if you’re interested.
Verizon Wireless
Verizon has already confirmed they’ll be carrying the Galaxy Note 5, and will have it available for purchase starting on August 21st. They have also stated that they will be doing pre-orders beginning today at 3PM EDT. Subscribers can pick up the phone at full cost or on Verizon’s payment plan depending on which pricing suits them best. Verizon has both the 32GB model and the 64GB model available, and prices are set at $696 and $792 for full cost respectively. For those who want to break the phones up, the cost will be $29 a month for 24 months for the 32GB model, and $33 a month for 24 months for the 64GB model. Verizon is also offering a $100 bill credit for those who switch to Verizon from another carrier, and an additional $200 bill credit (minimum) if you trade in an older qualifying device.
Sprint
Sprint has confirmed they will also be selling both models of the Galaxy Note 5 so subscribers have their choice of either 32GB or 64GB, and the phone will be available in stores on August 21 with pre-orders starting today at 3PM EDT. The phone can be picked up at full cost for $720 for the 32GB model or $816 for the 64GB model. Sprint also offers the phone on 2-year contract pricing set at $249 and $349 for the 32GB and 64GB models respectively. There are two more options on offer as well. Sprint’s leasing option has the phone set at $25 a month and $30 a month for the 32GB and 64GB models with a $0 down payment, while the easy pay option also offers a $0 down payment but prices change to $30 a month and $34 a month for the 32GB and 64GB models. Sprint also has some promos on offer here. Trading in an old phone Sprint says will guarantee a $200 bill credit, and you can upgrade early at 12 months. Lastly, for those who activate a new line and sign a new 2-year service agreement, they’ll get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 for free.
AT&T
AT&T is no different here when it comes to availability for purchase or pre-orders. You can pre-order the device today starting at 3PM EDT and it will be in stores on August 21st. As far as pricing goes, subscribers can purchase the phone on a 2-year contract at $249 for the 32GB model and $349 for the 64GB model. It will also be available at full cost outright for either $739.99 or $839.99. Then there is the NEXT plans. Next 24 will cost $24.67 for the 32GB model and $28 for the 64GB model. NEXT 18 will cost $30.84 and $35, and lastly, NEXT 12 will cost $37 and $42.
AT&T also has a few promotions on offer. Those who subscribe to AT&T’s U-Verse or DIRECTV and bundle those with their wireless plan can receive a $300 bill credit when they purchase the Galaxy Note 5. There is also a promotion where if you trade in your old device you can receive a $200 credit when you buy the Galaxy Note 5 on a NEXT plan. One last promotion which AT&T calls their “switcher” promo, gives customers a $100 bill credit as well as a $200 buyback credit on an old device trade-in if they switch to AT&T from another carrier.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile is doing things a tad bit differently here. They are not doing pre-orders for the device, and it will be available in stores on August 21st. You can however, pre-register to learn more about the phone and if you do so by August 20th as well as purchase the Galaxy Note 5 by September 30th, you’ll receive a free year of Netflix.
When it comes to pricing, T-Mobile will have both the 32GB and 64GB models of the phone available, and it can be picked up at full cost or payments can be broken up over the bill. Full cost for the 32GB model will be $699, or subscribers can choose to break the payments up using EIP. For those who go this route the price will be $0 down and $29.17 a month for the first 23 months, while the payment for the 24th month will be $29.08. For customers who are breaking the payments up over EIP and have JUMP! On Demand attached to their plan, the phone will cost $0 down and $25 a month for 18 months. When it comes to the 64GB model the price of the phone will be $99 down and $28.34 a month for the first 23 months, and $$28.18 for the 24th month. For those with JUMP! On Demand attached to their plan, it will be $99 down and $24.34 per month for 18 months. Full cost on the 64GB model will be $779.
Europe
For the time being the Galaxy Note 5 will not be available in Europe until a later date according to Samsung.
UK
The same thing goes for the UK as it does for Europe. Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Note 5 will not be available in the UK until a later date.
Asia
The Galaxy Note 5 will be available in Asian markets starting August 21st. Prices vary depending on carrier.
