Google has released two Nexus handsets this year, the Nexus 5X and 6P. The first one is manufactured by LG and is Google’s affordable Nexus, while the latter one is built by Huawei and is actually a premium offering by the company. Anyhow, these two devices have been listed in select markets for quite some time now, like Europe for example. Well, the Huawei’s Nexus 6P has been listed in Europe for a while, but it hasn’t been available (in stock), until now that is. We have some good news for those of you who are looking to purchase Google’s newest phablet, read on.
The Huawei Nexus 6P is now available via the Google Play Store in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. The same thing probably applies for all the other countries in Europe where Google Play Store devices are available, at least those which have Euro as the official currency. The 32GB variant of the Nexus 6P is priced at €649 in Europe at the moment, while the most expensive, 128GB variant, can be bought for €799. The Nexus 6P is quite a bit more expensive in Europe than it is in the US, but that was to be expected. In addition to all this, if you decide to purchase the Nexus 6P directly from Google in Germany, Spain or France before December 8th, you’ll get a free Chromecast.
The Nexus 6P is made out of metal, and it’s quite a big handset. This phablet sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and 32, 64 or 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 12.3-megapixel shooter is available on the back of this handset along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash and a Laser Autofocus. The 8-megapixel shooter can be found up front, and a 3,450mAh battery is also a part of this package, and is non-removable. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Nexus 6P, and you also get 4G LTE connectivity here, of course. The phablet measures 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3mm, while it weighs 178 grams.
