November 6th marks the start of Sprint’s latest offer, timed for the early holiday season. If you’re looking to activate a new Samsung smartphone on Sprint’s network, the carrier is prepared to hand over an Amazon Prime membership, a $99 value. Sprint is also promoting its trade-in offers, which significantly reduce the monthly fee for leasing a Samsung Galaxy S6 of Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Sprint, currently the nation’s fourth-largest wireless carrier, is helping to sweeten the deal for potential customers who might be looking for a new smartphone. The offer is open to both customers who make the switch to Sprint or those who already subscribe to the carrier and instead either upgrade or add a new line to their plan. In order to qualify for the offer, Sprint is requiring the activation of a new Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. Any of these phones can be purchased from Sprint through their Sprint Lease, Sprint Easy Pay, or two-year contract options.  Alternatively, you may pay the full retail price, though these flagship devices are all on the pricey side.

Once activated, Sprint is offering a year of Amazon Prime per account. The service would normally require a $99 annual subscription with the online retailer and includes a number of premium features. Amazon heavily promotes Prime’s access to free two-day shipping, Netflix-style streaming with Prime Video, and a robust music streaming catalog with Prime Music. Prime Photos is also available, offering unlimited photo storage. Amazon is looking to generate more content for Prime subscribers in the future, which includes the creation of a number of original series for Prime Video.

Sprint is also offering reduced monthly payments for customers looking to lease either a Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Galaxy Note 5. With the trade-in of a qualified smartphone, the prices come down to an attractive $10 and $17, respectively. If you’re willing to switch to Sprint but still have that phone you need to pay off or a contract keeping you tied down, the carrier is prepared to pay your worries away. If you turn in your old phone and register online, Sprint will finance your switch to its network.

Sprint may not be leading the market in terms of its subscriber base, but its offers are often some of the best in the industry. An Amazon Prime membership can be a viable investment and if you’re in the market for a Samsung flagship, this offer is worth taking a look at. Sprint’s offer ends November 30th.
