Verizon has posted today a new article showcasing their latest wearable’s that are directed at children. These new devices are labeled the GizmoGadget and the GizmoPal 2, both offering similar features though the GizmoGadget is the more premium wearable with a select few added features. If you’re a parent and would like to keep a good track of where you’re children are at all times then these new wearable’s may be your next purchase with a small monthly fee to keep these devices up and running. Here are the latest details on both wearable devices.

While both of these devices, the GizmoPal 2 and the GizmoGadget, offer similar features, the latter is the more premium device that includes a 1.3-inch color touchscreen. Though both of these devices come with a slew of features that will allow kids to enjoy wearing them and give parents the safety net of keeping track of their children at all times. For children, the GizmoPal 2 and GizmoGadget come stocked with a pedometer and jump rope counter in hopes to encourage exercise. Additionally, the GizmoGadget offers two-way calling, where the device will be able to accommodate up to ten total numbers though there are features to allow children to send preset messages and emoji’s.

Both of these devices will also include a built-in GPS that will run in real-time. Parents can adjust the range of the GPS boundaries this way if a child goes beyond the boundaries that were set by their parent or legal guardian, an instant notification will be sent immediately giving out alerts with the child GPS location. This is a great way to keep track of your child in real-time anywhere you’re located. These wearable’s come in various colors with different color bands through Verizon Wireless. Parents will have to pay a monthly fee of $5 to keep these devices activated, but they are able to drop out and join back in at any time. In order to setup the GPS boundaries for the device, parents will have to download the GizmoHub application which is available through the Google Play and Apple App Stores for free. Currently, the GizmoPal 2 will be available for $79.99 while the GizmoGadget is priced at $149.99.
