CES 2016 offers some of the latest innovations in tech and mobile industry. One of the recently announced innovations during the much awaited tech event of the year was made by Dell. For the first time ever, the company has been able to create a couple of wireless monitors that will be sure to stir the curiosity of the public. But out of the two, there is one model that comes with a feature that makes it a better bang for your buck. Imagine this: a wireless monitor that can also charge your phone without wires.
Although it’s not exactly a brand new idea (Samsung introduced it in 2015), the Dell 23 Wireless Monitor comes with a built-in charging pad on its base that allows wireless charging through Qi or PMA standards. The monitor comes with a 23-inch full HD display that also allows screen cast from an Android or a Windows Phone device via Bluetooth or Miracast. Apart from wireless charging, the display also comes with dual three-watt speakers, standard HDMI and USB 2.0 ports, and a wide viewing angle at 178 degrees.
The other wireless monitor introduced is called the Dell 24 Wireless Monitor. This display comes with a 23.8-inch display, four USB 3.0 ports, a smaller bezel, and improved color reproduction. It doesn’t have wireless charging on its base though. After showing off these two monitors at the CES 2016, Dell has announced the availability and pricing information for these two wireless monitors. The Dell 23 Wireless Monitor will be available for $429 while the Dell 24 Wireless Monitor has a price tag of $469. For just $40 less, you can already get the monitor that allows wireless charging for your device. But then again, you’d have to prioritize which monitor feature is the better choice for you– bigger with no wireless charging for your phone or a relatively smaller monitor that comes with wireless charging. Both of these wireless monitors will start selling on March 31st.
