When it comes to office based applications and services, Office, by Microsoft, is probably the one most are familiar with. Just by sheer exposure. Google has today announced that Docs, Sheets and Slides now come with an improved ability to comment. When using any of the services from a desktop, users can simply highlight text and a new icon will automatically pop up. When the icon is clicked, the user will be able to add a comment to the specifically highlighted text. Nice and easy. Due to the nature of being designed for collaborative work, this will also be the case for documents which are shared with other people. Offering everyone the ability to comment on communal documents. Likewise, the announcement details, that the improvements to document commenting is designed to be a cross-platform improvement so that whichever platform, operating system or device you are using to access a document, you can expect the same level of functionality and experience.
