We’re only halfway into 2016 yet there’s been an array of LG smartphones that have entered the smartphone market. So far, the public has already seen five of these smartphones from LG’s K series– the K4, K5, K7, K8 and K10. If you think that’s the last of it (at least for this year), you’re mistaken. Earlier today, an unannounced LG smartphone – dubbed the LG K535 – obtained approval from the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center in China. The sixth smartphone bears the model number LG K535. There’s still a confusion as to what its market name would be, whether it’ll be called the LG K11 or the LG K12. Either of these names seem likely to be given to the LG K535 since it bears a larger size and is more powerful than the other smartphones under the LG K series branding.
While the official market name of the LG K535 is still unknown, its specs have already been unveiled to the public. The smartphone will be equipped with a large 5.7-inch display and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Powering the device from within is a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage space, and a 2,900mAh battery. Camera-wise, the LG K535 will be available with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It will have a dedicated stylus pen tucked on the upper left hand corner of the smartphone. Unlike the other K series handsets LG has released, the LG K535 will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. What’s interesting about this smartphone is that it measures in at 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and has a weight of 146 grams.
Comparing the LG K535 with the other smartphones released by LG, it’s likely an enhanced version of the recently announced LG Stylus 2; which comes with similar dimensions yet low end specs. Apart from this information, there’s still no word when this new smartphone manufactured by LG will be released along with its price. Keep in mind that all smartphones that pass through the TENAA aren’t always announced or released. There is a chance we won’t see this product released.
