Less than a month ago, the OnePlus 3, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated smartphone of the year, was launched. While it packs top of the line hardware, it does face some issues with its software, leading to a number of complaints from users. One of the most common issue faced by users is the way OnePlus designed the phone to manage its RAM (a whopping 6 GB of RAM). According to OnePlus, this was done to save battery life, but after users started complaining, OnePlus has decided to change things around when it comes to RAM management, and some other software-related things, read on.

OnePlus is, seemingly, releasing an OTA update to all OnePlus 3 users running on OxygenOS. OxygenOS 3.2 is being rolled out and users can expect a multitude of changes from the update which comes in at a size of 396 MB. Among the changes are, improved RAM management, improved GPS performance, enabled sRGB mode, enhanced audio playback quality, updated custom icon packs, fixed some issues in gallery, fixed some issues in notifications, improved camera quality/functionality, latest Google security patches and fixed bugs in the Clock and Music apps. Do take note that the sRGB mode can only be enabled in the developer options. While not stated in the changelog for the update, the VR issue has also been fixed according to forum members on the OnePlus forum. The issue caused the magnetometer in the device to spike and cause clicking in VR enabled apps such as the Cardboard App and YouTube, rendering these apps unusable. OnePlus has yet to make an announcement regarding the new update, but many users have already received it.

For those who would like a refresh on the specs of the OnePlus 3, read on. The OnePlus 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display. It packs a Snapdragon 820 SoC as well as an Adreno 530 GPU.
