Lenovo brought four new tablets to this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company has just introduced these tablets during their press conference, and it’s time to check out what they have to offer in the spec department. Lenovo announced two 8-inch and two 10-inch tablets, and they’re called the Lenovo Tab 4 8, Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, Lenovo Tab 4 10 and Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus. That being said, let’s get started, shall we.
Let’s kick things off with the Lenovo Tab 4 8. This tablet features an 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of expandable native storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 425 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, along with the Adreno 308 GPU for graphics. A 5-megapixel camera is placed on its back, while a 2-megapixel shooter can be found on its front side. A 4,850mAh battery is also a part of this package, and Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on the device, along with some additions by Lenovo. This tablet also offers a set of dual speakers, Dolby Atmos audio is a part of the package as well, and you do get a 3.5mm headphone jack here as well. The tablet comes in Black and White color variants, while it measures 211 x 124 x 8.2mm and weighs approximately 310 grams. Lenovo will sell two variants of this tablet, 4G LTE + Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi only variants, which is something that applies to all tablets the company introduced today.
The Lenovo 4 8 Plus is somewhat more powerful than the regular Tab 4 8 variant, in many ways. This tablet features an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS display, 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 16GB / 64GB of expandable native storage. A 4,850mAh battery is included here as well, and so is Android 7.0 Nougat which comes pre-installed on this tablet. The Lenovo 4 8 Plus, just like the regular Tab 4 8, features two speakers with Dolby Atmos, and unlike the Tab 4 8, it comes with a fingerprint scanner as well. This tablet is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, and an Adreno 506 GPU is here for graphics processing. An 8-megapixel camera can be found on the back of the Lenovo Tab 8 Plus, while a 5-megapixel shooter is placed on its front side. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus measures 210 x 123 x 7mm, and it weighs 300 grams. As far as color options are concerned, you get to choose between a Sparkling White and Aurora Black variants.
The Lenovo Tab 4 10 is identical to the Tab 4 8 in almost every way, except its display (and general size) is bigger, and it comes with a beefier battery. This tablet sports a 10.1-inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, and comes with a 7,000mAh battery. This tablet measures 247 x 171 x 8.3mm, while it weighs approximately 500 grams. The Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus, on the other hand, is a larger equivalent to the Tab 4 8 Plus, except for the fact it comes with a 7,000mAh battery, and a larger, 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 display. The Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus measures 247 x 173 x 7mm, and weighs 475 grams. Larger Lenovo Tab 4 tablets are identical to its smaller counterparts in every other way, basically.
