LG has just announced the LG G6 during the company’s MWC 2017 event, and you can check out its main announcement if you’d like. That being said, you’re probably interesting in taking a closer look at the specs sheet of this smartphone, well, we’re actually here to do just that, as the LG G6 might not ship with the latest and greatest SoC from Qualcomm, but the phone certainly has a lot to offer in the spec department, read on.

First and foremost, it’s worth noting that the LG G6 is made out of metal and glass, and that it comes with rather thin bezels all around (over 80% screen-to-body ratio), even though it has extremely thin black bars all over the display as well. The device sports a 5.7-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440) FullVision display which comes with support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision, not to mention that it has an 18:9 ratio, which is something we’ve expected will happen considering LG introduces this display a while back. As you can see, this display has rounded corners, and LG says that this will make it more durable, because the damage will spread out if you drop the phone, won’t impact one corner all that much. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, which is Qualcomm’s flagship SoC for last year which comes with the Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The phone also offers 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of expandable internal storage, its availability will be market dependent, of course. A 3,300mAh battery is placed on the inside of this smartphone (and it’s flexible, says LG), and it is not removable, but you are getting fast charging here. The LG G6 ships equipped with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging solution, which means you’ll be able to charge this smartphone from 0 to 50% in only 35 minutes. The LG G6 also supports WPC and PMA wireless charging standards, in case you were wondering, though wireless charging will be available only for US models of the LG G6.

The LG G6 comes with two rear-facing cameras, we’re looking at two 13-megapixel snappers here, one normal angle (f/1.8 aperture, 71-degree angle lens), one wide-angle camera (f/2.4 aperture, 125-degree wide-angle lens). With these two camera sensors, you’re getting 2x optical zoom, and 16x digital zoom, while a dual-LED flash is placed in between the two camera sensors. Right below it, you’ll notice the rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and on the very bottom of the phone’s back is LG’s ‘G6’ branding. A 5-megapixel shooter is available on the front side of the LG G6, and is here to satisfy your selfie needs. IP68 certification for water and dust resistance is also a part of this package, and it comes without the need for flaps or anything of the sort, all ports on the phone can remain open. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on this smartphone, along with LG’s custom UI, the so-called LG UX 6.0.  As far as audio features are concerned, you are getting the Hi-Fi Quad DAC here, as the company confirmed a while back. The LG G6 comes in Black and Silver color variants, both of which are pictured in the gallery down below. The device measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm, while we still don’t know how much it weighs, though.
