Samsung had started pushing out Android 7.0 Nougat to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge earlier this year, and it seems like the Galaxy S6 Edge just boarded the Nougat train as well. This update was supposed to land at the end of February, but the company decided to delay it a bit in order to make sure everything is in order. Well, it seems like the update is now rolling out, at least according to the source, as they received tips from a number of readers claiming that the update landed, and in addition to that, some screenshots landed as well, read on.

One user reported that the update landed on the Vodafone Galaxy S6 Edge unit in the UK with a firmware version G925FXXU5EQBG, while some other users are claiming that they’ve received the update on both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge as well, in Germany, Italy and Switzerland. It is possible that the update is rolling out to the Galaxy S6 smartphones in Europe only for the time being, but we’re unable to report such claims just yet. In any case, this update weighs around 1.3GB, and it brings a ton of changes along with it. You will get a number of Google’s Android Nougat features with the update, which have been adapted for Samsung’s skin, of course. Samsung has also reworked its UI a bit, in order to make it a bit more functional. The notification shade has been altered, bundled notifications are here, while you’ll also get Samsung Cloud service along with this update. For those of you who don’t know, Samsung Cloud will offer you an option to backup and restore various apps / settings, including both native apps and some third-party apps. All users are getting 15GB of free storage on Samsung Cloud, which is a nice addition by Samsung, and this update also brings the February security patch for Android.

If you’d like to check out what the update looks like on Vodafone’s Galaxy S6 Edge handset, take a look at the gallery down below. That being said, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are Samsung’s 2015 flagships, and are still quite powerful. The two devices are fueled by the Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core SoC, they both ship with 3GB of RAM, and both are made out of metal and glass. As already mentioned, we’re not sure if the update is rolling out in Europe only at the moment, or all over the world, but one thing is for sure, it is rolling out gradually, so it might take a while until you get it.

UPDATE: even more reports surfaced claiming that the Galaxy S6 is also getting the update.
