Android Pay’s newest promotion is a fairly simple one; just input a promo code, then use the app three times within 30 days to get a $5 gift card for Dunkin’ Donuts. The amount may be somewhat meager, but if you regularly shop at places that can accept Android Pay, you’ll find yourself sipping a Dunkin’ latte or chowing down on some delicious Dunkin’ fare with no trouble. The promo code that you have to enter in the app is DUNKIN, and the code will work for new and existing users. Newcomers will obviously have to add a credit or debit card to begin actually using the app.
There are just a few small caveats to this promotion. For starters, you have to make your three purchases within 30 days of entering the code, and making three purchases in a day won’t count – you have to use the app on three separate days. Once you’ve gotten your $5 Dunkin’ gift card, you can’t get another. Purchases made through Android Pay cannot net you any DD Perks points. Finally, you only have until November 4th to enter in the code, which means that you’ll be able to buy yourself some Dunkin’ only by December 4th if you start using Android Pay no later than December 2nd.
The terms of the latest promotion are extremely simple, as Android Pay promotions tend to be. Google has been drumming up user interest in the service through promotions like these as more and more banks hop on board, and more and more businesses start accepting Android Pay. The app can also be used to help with purchasing things online or inside other apps, making it one of the more versatile mobile payment solutions out there. It should be stated, however, that Android Pay will not work on a rooted device or on any custom ROMs, at least without special modifications. Still, if your device is either stock or modified to hide things like root and a custom kernel and ROM, there’s never been a better time to jump on board with Android Pay and try out one of the most popular and straightforward mobile payment solutions out there.
