The Honor 7C got certified by TENAA quite recently, while Honor released a teaser image as well, and now a video ad surfaced as well. This is actually a rather long video ad, it has a duration of over two minutes, and you can check it down below, in form of an embedded YouTube video. In this ad, you can get a close look at the Honor 7C, while some of its features are also mentioned here.
This ad confirms that the device will feature facial recognition technology, which will, most likely, use the phone’s front-facing camera. The phone will be made out of metal, while it will ship with a dual camera setup on the back. Honor’s branding will be placed below the display, and on the back of the device, while the phone’s bezels will be quite thin, despite the fact it will be quite affordable. This video also reconfirms that the phone will be announced on March 12, which is something that Honor confirmed quite recently. The Honor 7C will be inferior to the Honor 7X, that’s for sure, but it will still be quite a compelling offering at its price point, at least if TENAA’s info is accurate, and it probably is considering that TENAA is China’s equivalent to the FCC. That being said, the Honor 7C will sport a 5.99-inch HD+ (1280 x 720) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card).
The Honor 7C will be fueled by one of Huawei’s Kirin chips, though TENAA did not reveal which model exactly, we do know that it will be a 64-bit octa-core chip, though. Android 8.0 Oreo will come pre-installed on the Honor 7C, while Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0 skin will be included on top of it. 13 and 2-megapixel snappers will be included on the back of the Honor 7C, while an 8-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side. A 2,900mAh non-removable battery will also be included in the package, and the device will support 4G LTE, both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE bands. It was also revealed that the phone will be only 7.8mm thick, and that it will weigh 164 grams. This phone’s price point is still unknown, but chances are it will cost around 1,199 Yuan ($190) in Honor’s homeland, China.
