A new tweet may have just revealed a number of important details regarding Huawei’s upcoming P20 lineup. Huawei has already confirmed that it’s new flagship line will be launching in Paris at the end of the month, March 27 more precisely. Though specs have not been confirmed yet by Huawei, a rumor has surfaced which talks about some of the phone’s storage and camera details. According to the rumor, the base model of Huawei’s regular P20 will come equipped with 32GB of storage, just like last year’s Huawei P10, although higher storage variants are expected to also be available.

In terms of the camera, it has previously been reported that the device will sport a dual-camera setup and, according to the rumor, this will include a main 16-megapixel lens. Moving on to the more expensive Huawei P20 Plus, the Chinese company is said to have upped the minimum storage setup to 64GB, while the main camera sensor is set to feature an increased resolution of 18-megapixels. If previous reports are accurate, this sensor is set to be coupled with a secondary 16-megapixel monochrome sensor, and a third 16-megapixel telephoto lens, creating the world’s first triple-camera setup on a smartphone and possibly improving upon the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus‘ current title of best smartphone camera, which it was recently awarded by DxOMark. Also launching alongside the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus is set to be the company’s next mid-range competitor, the P20 Lite. Like the regular P20, the base model of the budget alternative is listed as shipping with 32GB of internal storage, and a 16-megapixel camera is also included on the rear, although it’s unclear if the sensor is identical to the Huawei P20’s.

Aside from these mentioned differences, on the outside, the three devices are expected to be nearly identical, with the only major distinction being the differences in size. After all, Huawei’s upcoming series is expected to adopt a new glossy glass and metal design that will be dominated by new 18:9 displays on the front which are set to sport a notch at the top. Furthermore, both the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus are said to boast front-facing fingerprint scanners on their bottom bezels, while in the case of the P20 Lite, the scanner looks to have been moved to the center of the rear panel.
