The Honor 10 will be announced in China tomorrow, and following a bunch of renders which Roland Quandt shared, the Honor 10’s pricing has just surfaced in China. If the provided info is to be believed, we’ll get three Honor 10 variants. The most affordable Honor 10 model is said to sport 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, and it will cost 2,699 Yuan ($429). The middle-of-the-road model will arrive with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with a 2,999 Yuan ($477) price tag, while the most expensive variant will include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while it will cost 3,599 Yuan ($573). Along with the phone’s price tags, the source claims that the Honor 10 will become available for purchase in China on April 27, while it will arrive in various color variants.
It is worth noting that the Honor 10 will launch in London on May 15, and that will be the global launch of the device. Now, last year, Honor introduced two variants of the Honor 9, one with 4GB of RAM, one with 6GB of RAM, and only the 4GB RAM variant was available in Europe, save for Italy where the 6GB RAM model was also available through some retailers. That indicates that the same could happen this year, though it would be nice if Honor gave its European consumers some options, and opted to release both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants officially via its HiHonor online store. The Honor 10 will arrive to China first, while Europe will be the second region this handset becomes available. In terms of the design, the Honor 10 will resemble the Huawei P20 quite a bit, it seems, it will be made out of metal and glass, and sport a front-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone will also come with a display notch, similar to the one on the P20.
The Honor 10 will sport a 5.84-inch fullHD+ display, if TENAA’s and Roland Quandt’s info is to be believed, while Huawei’s Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the phone. The Kirin 970 is Huawei’s most powerful processor to date, and it comes with a dedicated NPU as well. The Honor 10 will ship with 24 and 16-megapixel or 24 and 20-megapixel cameras, depending on whether you want to believe info shared by TENAA or Mr. Quandt. A 24-megapixel camera will be included on the phone’s front side, while Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1 skin.
