Just a few days after leaking online, the 360 N7 Android smartphone from 360 Mobiles, also known as Qihoo 360, is now official in China. It doesn’t feature the triple-lens camera setup from the recent leak, but it nonetheless packs impressive specifications for its price point. The 360 N7 sports a large 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels, 2.5D curved glass, and an 18:9 aspect ratio like most recent flagships. Under the hood, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, and 6GB of RAM.
The 360 N7 further comes in two storage configurations – 64GB and 128GB of native storage space – and a large 5,030mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. In the camera department, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup comprised of a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and another 2-megapixel shooter. The rear camera setup also includes an LED flash, and comes with point detection autofocus. On the front, the handset has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and various beautification features for high-quality selfies. On the software side, it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo on board out of the box, along with the company’s proprietary UI and software optimizations.
Design-wise, the 360 N7 has a tall display, a metal back, and it comes in two color options – Graphite Black and Moonlight White. The latter also features a red power button that stands out, adding a touch of color to an otherwise all-white look. For extra security, the smartphone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that blends in nicely with the overall design. The base model with 64GB of native storage space carries a 1,699 Yuan (roughly $267) price tag, while the higher-capacity version with 128GB of storage retails at 1,899 Yuan (approximately $298). The handset is already available for purchase in China at JD.com, but the Moonlight White has yet to go on sale. For now, interested customers can purchase the Graphite Black version.
