The ASUS ZenFone 5Q has launched in the U.S. and is in stock at B&H for $299, and is currently available in both the Black and White models. This particular version of the ZenFone 5 is more of an entry-level model of the four variations though all are considered mid-range phones, coming with a lower price point than the ZenFone 5, ZenFone 5Z, and ZenFone 5 Max. The ZenFone 5Q previously went up for pre-order through Amazon back on May 28, but it’s currently still in pre-order status which means this is the first chance for consumers in the U.S. to actually get their hands on the phone, as B&H lists that consumers can purchase the device and it will ship out tomorrow, June 8.

ASUS initially announced the ZenFone 5Q and other versions earlier this year at Mobile World Congress 2018, showing off its latest devices with new specs and features. The ZenFone 5Q comes unlocked so it can be used with any GSM U.S. carrier, and it comes with 64GB of storage in addition to 4GB of RAM for memory. It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo software right out of the box, and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor.

Despite being a lower cost than some of the other variants ASUS still packed this device with respectable hardware. It has a 6-inch IPS Full HD display, and for cameras it’s carrying a 16-megapixel main sensor on the back along with a 120-degree wide-angle lens, in addition to 20-megapixel main sensor on the front with the same wide-angle lens for selfies and video chat. This is also one of two ZenFone 5 variants that doesn’t come with the notch (the other being the ZenFone 5 Max), so for those who like the ZenFone 5 but would rather have no notch, this might be the model to go for. Though this is a U.S. version of the phone, it still comes with Dual SIM support, which means you can use two SIM cards in the device and switch between them if you wish to.
