Pocophone has announced that the first global sale for its Poco F1 smartphone will start today, but that is pretty much all the info that the company released. This information was shared by Pocophone’s official Twitter handle, following the information that the phone will be available in over 60 countries all over the world. Now, the company did share some pricing info when it comes to the Poco F1, but its price tag will vary from one region to the other. So, for example, the phone’s 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage will cost €360 in France, while a 6GB RAM model with 128GB of storage will set you back €400 in the country. On the other hand, in Spain, the device’s 6GB RAM model with 64GB of storage is priced at €330, while a variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be available for €400. For those of you who are not in the loop, the Poco F1 is the first smartphone by Pocophone, Xiaomi’s sub-brand. This handset has a really low price tag considering what it offers, as the company managed to squeeze in Qualcomm’s most powerful processor on the inside, plenty of RAM, and is actually quite proud of how fast the phone really is.
The Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch fullHD+ (2246 x 1080) IPS LCD display, 6GB / 8GB of RAM, and 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, while a 4,000mAh battery is also included on the inside. 12 and 5-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the Poco F1, while a 20-megapixel camera sits on the phone’s front side. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on this phone, while you will find Pocophone’s POCO Launcher on top of it, which is essentially a customized version of Xiaomi’s MIUI skin.
