Not many solid Android tablets are available out there at the moment, and if you’re unwilling to pay premium for the Galaxy Tab S4, the Alldocube X may be a good alternative. The company is actually positioning this tablet as a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy Tab S4, as the device actually sports a really solid build, while its spec sheet is nothing to scoff at either. The Alldocube X is currently available for $219 via Indiegogo (it will be over 20-percent pricier once it goes up for sale), as the company is still collecting funds for the tablet, even though they already have over 700-percent more funds than they bargained for. Alldocube originally planned to get at least $30,000, and the company has collected over $226,000 at the time of writing this article, and there’s still a month left for the tablet to collect funds.
The Alldocube X is made out of metal, and it comes with a 10.5-inch 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED display, which is actually the same technology that the Galaxy Tab S4’s display is using, and it’s actually the same size and resolution as the Galaxy Tab S4’s panel. The Alldocube X is fueled by the MediaTek MT8176 64-bit processor, while it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the Alldocube X, while the device comes with an 8,000mAh, which is larger than a 7,300mAh battery pack in the Galaxy Tab S4. The Alldocube X sports an 8-megapixel camera both on its front and back sides, while the device features Bluetooth 4.2. MediaTek’s Pump Express 2.0 fast charging is included in the package as well, while the device comes with an AKM HiFi chip as well.
