Blackview is teasing a new smartphone arrival, though the company did not release the name of that handset. The company did say that the device will be announced in the near future, and that we’re looking at a tri-proof rugged smartphone. That device will be even more powerful than the Blackview BV9500 Pro, that was announced by the company a while back. Blackview also mentioned that the device will be a part of its ‘BV’ series of smartphones, which makes sense considering it will be a rugged device.
That being said, the company did release some info regarding this smartphone, along with its AnTuTu benchmarking results. The device was able to score 138,836 points on AnTuTu, as you can see in an image down below, though, unfortunately, that listing did not reveal any additional info regarding the device. Blackview mentioned that the phone will ship with a GVO AMOLED display, and that it will sport an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is quite surprising for a rugged smartphone. Blackview also mentioned that the phone will be fueled by the MediaTek Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor, which is one of MediaTek’s most powerful mid-range processors. The last piece of info that the company revealed, is that this phone will be marketed as both a rugged phone and a gaming smartphone.
The Blackview BV9500 and BV9500 Pro come with 4GB and 6GB of RAM, respectively, while both phones include large batteries. Both of those phones are IP68-certified, and are actually quite capable budget phones. Well, this upcoming handset will up the game, according to Blackview, and other than the info the company released, the phone will almost certainly come with IP68 certification as well, while it will probably offer MIL-STD-810G rating as well. Blackview has promised that more info will be revealed in the near future, so stay tuned for that. If you would like to, however, purchase the BV9500 or BV9500 Pro now, follow the link down below.
