The unannounced Nokia 7.1 Plus has surfaced yet again in a new leak detailing its key specifications along with its launch date. According to the report, the handset is set to go official next week on October 23 at a price of 2,699 yuan (~$390). For the uninitiated, the mid-range smartphone will reportedly debut in China initially as the Nokia X7 and HMD Global will later roll it out to other international markets as the Nokia 7.1 Plus. The provided pricing and availability details are most likely for the Asian market, though the company has yet to make an announcement in this regard. Both TENAA and FCC recently certified the upcoming Nokia-branded handset indicating its possible launch in the coming weeks in China as well as the U.S.

Today’s leak from China Telecom also includes an image of the mid-ranger showing off all its sides while confirming a couple of details. Unlike the currently retailing Nokia 7 Plus, its follow-up is expected to feature a notched display. A rather broad notch and bottom bezel can be seen flanking the phone’s display on the front, while a dual-camera setup is placed on the opposite side marked with Zeiss branding.  A fingerprint scanner is positioned below the vertical camera housing in the center of what appears to be a glass back. As far as this device is concerned, Nokia chose to retain the 3.5mm audio jack, which is now placed on the top, and a USB Type-C port has been including for charging and data syncing.

Some specifications of the mid-tier Android smartphone have also been shared in this leak, that include a 3,500mAh battery, as opposed to 3,400mAh capacity suggested in previous leaks. The Nokia 7.1 Plus is said to boast a 6.18-inch TFT LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 2,246 x 1080 pixels, which totals to an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. In line with previous leaks, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor has again been suggested for the handset along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, although HMD Global may announce several more variants with different RAM and internal memory combinations. A 12- and a 13-megapixel camera will be found on the back, while a 20-megapixel front-facing camera has been tipped for the device. The dual-SIM phone is expected to be about 7.97mm thick while weighing 178 grams and will come pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo.
