The LG G8 ThinQ is expected to arrive to T-Mobile on April 12, but it seems like the phone shipped to some consumers ahead of schedule, at least according to a report by TmoNews. One of the sites reads, named Bill, received the LG G8 ThinQ from T-Mobile on April 9, it seems, several days before he expected.

He also shared some impressions on the device with the site, saying that he is impressed with the phone thus far, praising the device’s Crystal Sound OLED featured. Speaking of which, our LG G8 ThinQ review is already up on the site, you can read both “The Good” and “The Bad” review parts if you want.

The LG G8 ThinQ is priced at $619.99 ($200 off its MSRP) over at T-Mobile, and you can grab the device on EIP for $0 down and $25.84 per months, presuming you sign a 24-month contract, of course. As an alternative, you can use JUMP! On Demand in order to get the device for $0 down and $27 per month on an 18-month lease, with a $133.99 residual payment, whichever works best for you. There are, of course, some additional options that you can check out over at T-Mobile.

It is also worth noting, that T-Mobile will also give you up to half off the LG G8 ThinQ via monthly bill credits if you opt to trade in a device that qualifies for the program, or add a new line of service. There are a number of phones that qualify for this offer, including some Apple, Samsung, LG, Google, and OnePlus devices.

The LG G8 ThinQ was announced back in February, and it’s the company’s latest flagship smartphone offering. The LG G8 ThinQ is actually quite similar to its predecessor in terms of the design language, but it does come with a number of improvements, of course. LG did tweak the phone’s design a bit, while it also included a number of hardware and software improvements.

The phone is made out of metal and glass, and its bezels are extremely thin, though the phone does sport a rather noticeable notch at the top of its display. The LG G8 ThinQ features two cameras on the back, while it has a camera sensors plus a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor on the front.

The phone features a 6.1-inch QHD+ P-OLED display, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor. The LG G8 ThinQ comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the device, along with LG’s LG UX 8.0 Android overlay.

The phone includes a capacitive fingerprint scanner on its back, and many people would argue that this is a better option than an in-display one. The phone is both IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certified, which means not only that it is resistant to water and dust, but that it is tougher than it looks.

A 3,500mAh battery is also included in this package, that battery is not removable, and it supports 21W fast charging (Quick Charge 3.0), and also wireless charging (9W). A 3.5mm headphone jack is included here as well, and the phone supports 32-bit/192kHz audio.
