The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to arrive in several RAM variants, and its 12GB RAM option has just been confirmed, pretty much. The OnePlus 7 Pro with 12GB of RAM appeared on Geekbench under “GM1917” model number, while that listing also mentions that the Snapdragon 855 will fuel the phone.
On top of that, Android 9 Pie is mentioned by Geekbench, as expected, while the phone’s benchmarking scores also got highlighted here. The phone managed to score 3,551 points in the single-core, and 11,012 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench, which are compelling benchmarking scores, that’s for sure, amongst the best out there.
This listing appeared on Geekbench yesterday, and there are a ton of additional single-core and multi-core details available via the source link, as per usual. Those numbers won’t really matter all that much to most of you, though, as the general single-core and multi-core results are a good indication of this phone’s sheer power.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is one of the three devices OnePlus is expected to announce on May 14, and it is expected to arrive in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM variants. The variant that got listed on Geekbench is clearly the most powerful one, and if rumors are anything to go by, that variant will ship with 256GB of internal storage.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to ship with three cameras on its back, and a curved display on the front. This will become the company’s very first smartphone with a curved display, and it will also be the company’s first smartphone with a QHD+ display. DisplayMate already confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have an A+ grade display, and if rumors are to be believed, we’re looking at a variable refresh rate display here, which will vary between 60 and 90Hz.
The device is rumored to ship with a 6.67-inch panel, and we’re looking at an OLED display here, of course. The phone will include an in-display fingerprint scanner, and it will ship with a pop-up selfie camera, so display notches and holes will not be a part of the design. The phone’s bezels will be almost non-existent.
In addition to the OnePlus 7 Pro, the company is expected to announce the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G on May 14. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G will be identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro, aside from 5G connectivity.
The OnePlus 7, on the other hand, well, it’s still a mystery. Initial leaks suggested that it will look like the OnePlus 6T, while a recent music video that surfaced actually suggested that it may be more similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro than we think.
The OnePlus 7 could actually ship with a flat display, and two cameras, but other than that, it could be identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro in terms of the design. The OnePlus 7 is expected to sport a smaller display, though, and a fullHD+ panel, at that. All in all, we’ve seen conflicting info when it comes to the OnePlus 7, so we’ll have to wait for the company to announce it in order to be sure what’s going on.
