The HONOR 20 Pro’s partial design has now been confirmed, as the company has sent us an image of the phone itself, which is included above the article. This is real-life image of the HONOR 20 Pro, and in the picture, the phone itself sits on its retail packaging, and even though we don’t get to see the whole front side of the device, part of it is shown here.

If you take a closer look at the phone’s retail box, you will see that it says “HONOR 20 Pro”, confirming that this is the device in question. Now, the second thing that most of you will probably notice is the display camera cutout, which sits in the top-left portion of the phone’s display.

The HONOR View20 actually has a camera cutout in that very same place, so this is not surprising at all. The good news is, that camera cutout is really tucked away in the corner of the phone’s display, which is not the case on some other phones. This image also confirms that the phone will have extremely thin bezels, as expected, while you can see EMUI running on the device.

Now, this device leaked several times thus far, but this is the first time we’re actually seeing its front side, and an official image of the device. The phone will sport glass on its back, if leaks are to be believed, and its back side will be curved. It will include three cameras on the back, and those three cameras will be vertically-aligned. One of those cameras (the bottom one), will actually be a periscope-style camera with insane zoom capabilities, similar to the one seen in the Huawei P30 Pro.

The phone will not include a fingerprint scanner on its back, which suggests that it will be placed below its display. The device’s rear-facing cameras will protrude a bit, though that is to be expected when it comes to today’s flagships.

The HONOR 20 Pro is actually rumored to include a 6.1-inch fullHD+ OLED display, 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. The device will be fueled by the same processor as Huawei’s flagships, and the HONOR View20, the Kirin 980. That is Huawei’s most powerful chip at the moment.

The HONOR 20 Pro will, allegedly, include 48, 20, and 8-megapixel cameras on the back, while a single 32-megapixel unit is rumored to be included on its front side. A 3,650mAh battery is also rumored to ship with the HONOR 20 Pro, while the phone will probably support 22.5W fast wired charging.

Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on this device, while Magic UI will be included on top of it, same as on the HONOR View20. The HONOR 20 Pro will include two SIM card slots, and in addition to this phone, HONOR is also expected to introduce the HONOR 20. The HONOR 20 will probably be smaller than the HONOR 20 Pro, and it will not include the periscope-style camera on the back. The device will ship with the same processor, though, and will have plenty of similarities to the Pro variant. Both devices will become official on May 21.
