In partnership with Samsung, Magenta carrier T-Mobile is bringing the Galaxy A10e and Galaxy A20 to its store shelves next Friday, July 26.

Samsung’s Galaxy A10e and A20, along with the more expensive Galaxy A50, are shaping up to be the phones to own this year. The Galaxy A10e has already made its way to AT&T and Sprint MVNO Boost Mobile, and the UN-carrier is now looking to get the most affordable smartphone Samsung has released this year at its carrier stores.

The Galaxy A20 is the higher-up of the two Galaxy A phones, featuring a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-V display (the “v” representing the waterdrop or teardrop notch design here) with an HD+ (1560 x 720p) screen resolution. Samsung’s own proprietary Exynos 7884 SoC is powering the device, alongside 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Galaxy A20, surprisingly, has a dual rear camera combo (13-megapixel f/1.9 + 5-megapixel Ultra-Wide Angle Lens), 8-megapixel front-facing camera, as well as a 4,000mAh battery, 1,000mAh more in capacity than the Galaxy A10e (3,000mAh battery).

The Galaxy A10e is more than its battery, however, featuring a 5.83-inch Infinity Display (TFT-LCD) with the edge-to-edge bezel-less design with HD+ (1560 x 720p) screen resolution, octa-core processor (likely a Samsung, perhaps the same one as the Galaxy A20), with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a 512GB-capable microSD card slot, 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11a/b/g.n/ac Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 charging, and a micro-USB charging cable.

Remember, the Galaxy A10e comes with a 3,000mAh battery, but the HD resolution of the display means your battery will last longer than most.

Samsung designed the Galaxy A10e to be the most affordable of the Galaxy A Series, with the phone costing $179.99. The Galaxy A20 was designed to cost more than the A10e (the A50 more than the A20), with the price sitting at $249.99. At T-Mobile, though, the UNcarrier has the Galaxy A10e listed at $175 or $0 down and $7.30 a month. The Galaxy A20, in contrast, can be yours for $250 outright or $10 down and $10 a month.

The Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e continue Samsung’s aim of providing more budget-friendly devices for its customer base. The Galaxy A series introduced by Samsung last month has arrived in the US for the first time ever in the A series’ history. The Galaxy A series has replaced the Galaxy J series of old, with Samsung beefing up the series by way of high-end specifications and new features. The Korean juggernaut said it would introduce high-end features on the Galaxy A series in order to attract customers to its mid-range phones.

While the Galaxy A20 and the Galaxy A50 provide the Ultra Wide Angle Lens and additional cameras that so many customers love, neither they nor the Galaxy A10e provide water and dust resistance protection. This means that these phones do not take into account IP ratings because they cost additional money and Samsung would have raised the price of the handsets behind IP certification.

The Galaxy A20 and A10e will be available at T-Mobile starting Friday, July 26th. Customers who pick up these devices on a two-year agreement (or 24-month leasing plan) will be subject to credit approval.

For those who aren’t interested in Samsung’s latest, the Pink Carrier is proudly displaying its own T-Mobile-branded REVVLRY and REVVLRY+ phones for sale that, contra Samsung’s Galaxy A series, feature water repellency (REVVLRY) and IP54 splash resistance (REVVLRY+).
